Liam Coyle
I’m Liam Coyle, a photographer and videographer focused on documentary work around conflict and political instability. I’ve spent time covering the war in Ukraine, everyday life in Lebanon, and reporting from Transnistria, trying to show what these places look and feel like beyond the headlines. I studied at Spéos International Photography School in the Creative Documentary & Photojournalism program run in partnership with Magnum Photos, earning an RNCP Level 6 degree in Photojournalism. Professionally, I’ve worked as Director of Photography for Atlas News and Modern Insurgent, where I’ve helped produce on-the-ground visual reporting. My work is straightforward and story-first, with an emphasis on being present, paying attention, and letting people speak for themselves.
